Recently, Eileen Harryvan hopped into the studio for a headshot photography shoot with us! Eileen works for Active Regeneration, as an independent BEMER distributor. Eileen came to the shoot prepared with different outfits to try out. This is always a good idea, as it gives you more looks to choose from. As you can see below, she simply threw on a blazer and it changed her look dramatically, giving her strong, respectable, and professional presence. The outfit really does matter in your headshot!

Ken McMullen Business Portrait Shoot – Plymouth, Michigan Studio
Ken McMullen, strategist for Thrivent Financial, recently came in for a business portrait shoot. Thrivent Financial is a fraternal benefit society, which means they are a not-for-profit organization, that has over two million members. Not only does Thrivent Financial offer a variety of financial services and insurances, but they bring together Christians to help strategize financial plans to fit their lives right now and in the future. Thrivent Financial also raises money to help with volunteer work and wonderful causes, one of which is a mission to collect $1 million to help those affected by Hurricane Florence. Ken started working for Thrivent in 2013 to assist with their business development. Earlier in 2018, he became a regional community engagement strategist, and the new position called for a brand new portrait!

Aida Dismondy – Headshot Photography
This past summer, we had a personal headshot session for Aida Dismondy. Aida founded Albex Law, P.C., a business law firm that works with small to mid-sized businesses that work with the United States government or do business internationally. Aida has remained the CEO of the firm since the founding, and in a such a powerful and respectable position, a fresh and professional headshot is a must!
DeAnna Gilbert – Headshot Photography – Plymouth Michigan Portrait Studio
DeAnna Gilbert, owner and founder of Integrity Naturals, stopped in our studio for a professional headshot session. As the owner of a company that sells a variety of natural, healthy, and safe products for your skin, it’s important for DeAnna to have a headshot that showcases herself (and her skin!) in a way that looks natural and glowing. As you can see below, different lighting techniques were used to achieve different looks.
Barbara Boldt – Branding Portrait Photography
Barbara Boldt came to the studio for a branding portrait shoot. She wanted branding content to add to her website, and we were happy to help! We took some shots around the Burroughs building, where our studio is, and they turned out fantastic. Being able to take different shots in various places really optimizes the possibilities of what we can do! Barbara works for Barbara Boldt Global Communications in Farmington where she works with corporate professionals and entrepreneurs on speaking to others in a way that is clear, concise, and meaningful. She coaches her clients in small groups, one-on-one, or virtually. As someone who works with others on presenting themselves professionally and confidently, it was essential to portray Barbara in the same manner. Take a look!

Greg Coyne – Headshot Photography – Plymouth, Michigan
Greg Coyne came by for a personal headshot session. Greg works as a sales and management consultant for Gerry Weinberg & Associates, Inc. As someone who works with a variety of people outside of his own office, it’s important for his headshot to appear presentable, respectable, and confident when he is searched for online in places such as Linkedin. He came to the right place to get a professional headshot!

Altran – Event Photography – Wixom, MI
We joined Altran for the grand opening of their Wixom location and Passive Safety Center! The company held a special ribbon-cutting event to introduce their new location, and the Passive Safety Center will be used to simulate and run texts for vehicle safety. Fellow Altran employees from all over the world joined for this special event. Key people in the company shared some of their own thoughts and advice to those who came to celebrate. There was a tour of the new facility, including the indoor track they use for testing.
Altran is a leader in engineering technology, as well as research and development. They work with what seems to be an endless array of industries including automotive, railways, infrastructure, aeronautics, and space. They’re a worldwide company headquartered in Paris, France.
Many people showed up to welcome the Wixom location to the Altran family. There were Altran goodies given away, yummy food for the tasting, some champagne to ring in the opening, speeches, touring, and networking galore! It was an exciting opening for everyone involved and we captured the night shot by shot.
