We stopped by this large industrial building in Romulus for a shoot. Arco built this warehouse, and it’s currently used to store food for grocery stores. It was quite chilly in there! We were going to shoot aerial shots of the building, as well, but because of its proximity to the airport, we weren’t able to fly our drone to take photos legally. If you’re ever interested in aerial photography know that FAA regulations may prohibit it. Some areas are not safe spaces for drones to fly. Now, let’s check out this warehouse!

We stopped by The Practice Zone in Farmington Hills for a Google Business View Tour. Not only is the The Practice Zone a place for basketball players to hone their skills, but TPZ also offers a wide variety of sport services like volleyball, pickleball, catchball, jump rope techniques, exercise classes, and more. On staff they have a head coach and assistant head coach to help players with enhancing their skills by going back to the fundamentals of the sport. It seems like a fun place to be, and this GBV tour enhances the experience by making it virtual! Check it out.
University of Michigan held a Coding Competition at the Michigan League on their Ann Arbor campus. The competition started at 11 a.m. and students spent the day coding for Terminal, a game where the goal is to beat the “boss” by writing algorithms that would automate their gameplay. The students were broken into teams of three and together they worked to defeat the boss in Terminal and to win a cash prize plus exclusive job opportunities. This event was hosted by Society of Women Engineers and Correlation One, and sponsored by Citadel Securities, who had recruiters present to talk with students about their interest in coding. It was an all day event with lunch included. At the end of the day, only two teams could win with their boss-beating algorithms. It was a super cool event to witness with so many intelligent and motivated young adults. Check it out!

We worked with Spark Headphones to photograph their Smart Glow Headphones in non-glow mode. Although the selling feature of this product is the glowing, it’s important to have photos of the product when it’s not on so customers know what it looks like. If you have a product that changes from it’s original form, it’s beneficial to have photos of your product in all of it’s forms. This allows the customer to know what to expect when purchasing the product, and can even help decide whether they order or not.

We joined Union Partners at Comerica Park for the Tigers’ last home game of the season to capture their employee picnic. It was a blast shooting this event! This event brought together their partners from the different companies for a day dedicated just to them – an employee celebration! Employees brought their families, there was a buffet of yummy food, face painting, and they enjoyed watching some baseball. It was a great time for everyone! Here are some highlights from the day.
