Terminal Coding Competition – Event Photography – Ann Arbor, MI

University of Michigan held a Coding Competition at the Michigan League on their Ann Arbor campus. The competition started at 11 a.m. and students spent the day coding for Terminal, a game where the goal is to beat the “boss” by writing algorithms that would automate their gameplay. The students were broken into teams of three and together they worked to defeat the boss in Terminal and to win a cash prize plus exclusive job opportunities. This event was hosted by Society of Women Engineers and Correlation One, and sponsored by Citadel Securities, who had recruiters present to talk with students about their interest in coding. It was an all day event with lunch included. At the end of the day, only two teams could win with their boss-beating algorithms. It was a super cool event to witness with so many intelligent and motivated young adults. Check it out!

When students checked in, they received free “swag,” like these Terminal t-shirts.

After they finished coding, they watched each other’s algorithms play out on the big screen to witness who the winners would be.

Integrity Naturals Display – Product Photography – Plymouth, MI

We worked with Integrity Naturals to photograph a display shelf of their line of skincare products. Integrity Naturals offers online ordering to anyone, but they also sell directly to other businesses. Portraying what a display shelf would look like is a fantastic idea to show current and prospective business customers what your products would look like on display in their own store. This was actually shot in the owner’s living room because of the challenge of transporting a glass shelf. So, the shot came with some challenges, but we think it turned out pretty well!

Spark Headphones – Glow vs. Non-Glow – Product Photography

We worked with Spark Headphones to photograph their Smart Glow Headphones in non-glow mode. Although the selling feature of this product is the glowing, it’s important to have photos of the product when it’s not on so customers know what it looks like. If you have a product that changes from it’s original form, it’s beneficial to have photos of your product in all of it’s forms. This allows the customer to know what to expect when purchasing the product, and can even help decide whether they order or not.
